At Boeremeisie Decor, we use dye sublimation—a high-quality, eco-friendly printing method that creates vibrant, long-lasting designs. Unlike traditional printing, this process uses water-based dye inks and heat, ensuring bright colors that won’t fade over time.

How Does It Work?

Dye sublimation uses high heat to turn ink into gas, which then bonds directly with the fabric. Once cooled, the color becomes part of the fabric itself, resulting in a permanent, wash-resistant print with crisp details and true-to-life colors.

Terms & Conditions – Boeremeisie Decor

By placing an order with Boeremeisie Decor, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect both our customers and our business, ensuring fair trade and transparency in every transaction.

1. Order Processing & Manufacturing

  • Made-to-Order Policy: All products are custom-made upon order. Manufacturing time for duvet covers is 2–3 working days and for comforters, 2–7 working days before shipping.

  • Color Disclaimer: Our designs are printed in CMYK colors, while website images appear in RGB mode. Due to this difference, printed colors may vary slightly from what is seen on screen. Boeremeisie Decor is not liable for color variations caused by this technical limitation.

  • Mockup Disclaimer: Product images on our website and social media serve as mockups for visualization. Final products may have slight variations due to fabric texture, stitching, or joining details.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing Errors: In the event of a pricing mistake, Boeremeisie Decor reserves the right to correct the price before completing the transaction. Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Section 23(9), we are not obligated to honor incorrect prices due to human or system errors.

  • Payment Terms: Orders are processed upon full payment. Payment options include EFT, credit card, and PayFlex.

  • Lay-By Policy: Lay-by orders require an agreed-upon payment plan and must be settled before production begins.

3. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

  • Custom Print Policy: Due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on custom-printed items unless there is a defect.

  • Order Cancellation: Cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of payment. After this period, production begins, and the order cannot be canceled.

  • Defective or Incorrect Orders: If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the issue. We will assess the case and, if valid, arrange for a replacement.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Courier Service: We use The Courier Guy for deliveries.

  • Delivery Timeframes:

    • Major cities: 2–3 working days

    • Outlying areas: 2–5 working days

  • Lost or Delayed Shipments: Once handed over to the courier, delivery is beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier service but will assist in tracking your package.

5. Artwork & Intellectual Property

  • Copyright Compliance: We only print original artwork provided by customers.

  • We do NOT print:

    • Copyrighted artwork from other artists without written permission

    • Images downloaded from Google, Pinterest, or any unauthorized sources

    • Explicit, pornographic, or offensive content

    • Religious idols, in alignment with our Christian values

    • Designs containing hate speech, foul language, or unethical themes

  • File Requirements: Artwork must be JPEG or PDF, 300 DPI, CMYK format. Boeremeisie Decor is not responsible for poor print quality due to low-resolution or incorrectly formatted files.

6. Privacy & Data Protection (POPIA Compliance)

  • Customer Data Protection: Boeremeisie Decor is committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, share, or distribute any personal data to third parties.

  • Data Use: Your information is only used for order processing, delivery, and customer communication.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Boeremeisie Decor is not liable for any loss, damage, or delays caused by factors beyond our control, including courier issues, load-shedding, or natural disasters.

  • We do not accept liability for improper care or washing of products. Please follow the care instructions provided.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Boeremeisie Decor reserves the right to decline service or refuse an order if it violates our ethical guidelines, printing policies, or company values.
